Returns & Refunds Policy
Returns – Change of Mind
Please note that returns or exchanges due to change of mind are not permitted during our “40% off for 40 minutes” promotion. All purchases made during this sale are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Markdowns & Sale Items
- Items discounted by 30% or more may be returned for store credit, subject to the terms outlined below.
- Items discounted by 40% or more are considered final sale and are not eligible for return.
General Return Eligibility
Change of mind return requests must be submitted within 30 days of receiving your order. You can start your return by clicking here.
Please note:
- Change of mind returns are only available to customers within Australia.
- Items must be returned in their original condition — unopened, unused, and with all tags and labels attached.
- Bedding items must not be removed from their fabric storage bags, unfolded, washed, or used in any way.
For quilted blankets and coverlets, once removed from their vacuum-sealed packaging, they are no longer considered “unopened.” While you may still submit a return request, it will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and may incur an additional repackaging/restocking fee (15% item value) alongside the standard return fee.
Return Shipping Requirements
- Items must be returned in a protective satchel / mailer or box. Please, do not return products using only the clear product bag — this bag should remain on the item for added protection and then be placed in suitable external packaging.
- Selah + Stone is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in transit. Please ensure all items are securely packaged.
Return Fees & Deductions
- If your order included "Free Returns & Shipping Protection (AU & US)", no return shipping fee will be charged.
- If you did not add the Free Returns option, a $19.95 flat-rate return fee will be deducted from your refund to cover return shipping.
- For orders paid via AfterPay, a 6.6% fee will also be deducted to cover AfterPay’s processing fees.
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected:
- If it meets our return criteria, a refund will be issued to your original payment method, minus any applicable fees.
- Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider.
- If your return does not meet the return conditions, it will be returned to you and no refund will be issued.
Free Gift with Purchase
If your order included a free gift and your return causes your total order value to fall below the qualifying threshold:
- The free gift must be returned in its original, unused, and unopened condition.
- If it is not returned or does not meet the required condition, the RRP value of the gift ($64.95) will be deducted from your refund or store credit.
Seconds/As-Is Items
Items sold as seconds or "as-is" are not eligible for change of mind or faulty returns.
Faulty Items
At Selah + Stone, we take pride in the quality of our products. Each order undergoes rigorous quality checks before being dispatched. However, if an item arrives faulty or damaged, please report it within 14 days of receiving your order in our returns portal. We will arrange and cover the cost of return shipping for approved faulty item claims and send a replacement at no additional cost.
Please note: General wear and tear from normal use is not considered a fault.
